Have you wondered how to respond to editors and reviewers comments when you receive a revise-and-resubmit decision? This webinar aims at addressing these questions. Two panelists who are already published and who have served as journal co-editors and members of editorial boards in several journals will share their experience to succeed in getting published in quality journals. Prof. Benson Honig will share the strategies in preparing your manuscripts for such journals; and, Prof. Brian Silverman will focus on how to address editors/reviewers comments in revise and resubmits.

Panelists Profiles:
Brian Silverman is the J.R.S. Prichard and Ann Wilson Chair in Management at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. His research focuses on the ways that firms’ strategies and organizational structures interact to affect their performance – in particular, their ability to access and exploit technological capabilities. His work has appeared in a range of academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, American Journal of Sociology, Journal of Law and Economics, Management Science, and Strategic Management Journal. His research has earned numerous awards, including Strategic Management Journal’s Best Paper Award (2017), American Journal of Sociology’s Gould Prize (2017), and Journal of Business Venturing’s Most Cited Article Award (2010). He is a Co-Editor at Strategic Management Journal and serves on the editorial boards of several other journals. He is also a past Division Chair of the Strategic Management Division of the Academy of Management. He holds degrees from Harvard University (AB, economics), MIT (SM, management), and the University of California at Berkeley (MA, economics and PhD, business administration). Facilitators Profiles:
Judy Muthuri is an Associate Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Nottingham University Business School and the Chair of the Social and Environmental Responsibility Group mandated to drive the School’s sustainability agenda. Her research interests include corporations and sustainable development; corporate social investment, human rights and multinationals in Africa, and CSR in Africa. She currently leads an interdisciplinary team working with mining stakeholders to co-create a more sustainable artisanal and small-scale mining sector in Taita Taveta County in Kenya (https://sustainable-asm.com). Her published work appears in the British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Business and Society Journal, Africa Journal of Management, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Environment: Science and Policy for Sustainable Development, Community Development Journal, and Journal of Corporate Citizenship. She has also published a number of edited books, book chapters, and co-authored a series of practitioner reports on stakeholder engagement and corporate community involvement in the United Kingdom for the Charities Aid Foundation. She serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Journal of Business Ethics, and previously in the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Africa Business.
